Blessing Expert

Are you a blessing expert or a problem expert? A blessing expert highlights the positive things that happens throughout the day and even finds something encouraging about the not-so-positive events. A problem expert focuses more on things that didn’t turn out so well, the complaints and the mishaps.

So how do you become a blessing expert attracting all the positive stuff in life?

1/ CHOOSE THE PEOPLE YOU HANG OUT WITH

Do you know of people who are always focused on problems?  They’re Problem Experts, not Blessing Experts. You don’t want to hang out with them. To them, everything is a problem. Including you. They’re miserable people and they’ll make everyone else miserable.

2/ BE GRATEFUL

The Bible teaches that we should give thanks to the Lord for everything He has done for us. You and me are blessed everyday!  Try this... everyday list down five things that you are thankful - the bright sun shine, free parking, hugs from your kids.... for that day. Get the message?  The feeling of gratitude is overwhelming - it keeps spirits up - you've got positive energy vibrating and infecting the people around you.  It's like the forces of nature have come together to make your life so easy.

3/ START YOUR DAY WITH A PRAYER

I pray this everyday, short and simple and gives that feeling of faith, hope, love and trust that blessings flow and that God is behind us...

Dear Lord, I thank You for this day.  I thank You for being able to see and hear this morning.  I am blessed because You are a forgiving and understanding God.  You have done so much for me and You keep on blessing me.  Forgive me this day for everything I have done, said or thought that was not pleasing to You.  I ask now for Your forgiveness.  Please keep me safe from all danger and harm.  Watch over me, my family and friends and send Your angels to guide and guard us.  Provide us with all our needs Lord.  Oh God into your hands i commend my spirit.  Into Your hands I lift up my soul.  Lift me up above life's adversities and strengthen my faith in You. Amen.

Emphasizing the blessings regularly over the problems is not automatic. It’s a daily decision we have to make. Being a blessing expert makes one a happier person.

When you’re a Blessing Expert, you see more blessings and thus, receive more blessings!
