Understanding the LAW OF ATTRACTION

Like me in the beginning, you might be all too confused about the LAW OF ATTRACTION. To have a clear perspective about this, let me share with you the following article take from RichGrad.com

What are you thinking about right now?


The Law of Attraction states that "whatever we think about, we bring about".


This law may initially seem like new age fluff but believe it or not, there are scientific merits to this proposition. The top quantum physicists of our time have discovered that our universe and our reality is very much directed by the "observer".

When studying quantum particles (the smallest observable unit of matter), these scientists discovered that such particles behave in accordance with the person conducting the experiment. If the scientists "predict" that quantum particles behave in a certain way, they do.


And yet, if the scientists "predict" that quantum particles behave in another way, they do. It is the "observer" that dictates the outcome of the experiment!


What does all this mean for us normal people?


Well actually, these scientific experiments has far reaching implications for us as our world is made up of these same quantum particles! In this case, we are the "observer", the director and hence the creator of our reality, our world and our experience.


So, be careful of what you think about! When you are about to fill your mind with negative thoughts Try observing your thoughts and changing your thinking in the following way:

"I want to get out of debt" to "I want to earn amazing riches"


"I hate my boss" to "I look forward to owning my own business"


"I don't understand why he is so lazy" to "I love it when he helps out around the house"


"I'm stressed about this project" to "I always create amazing results in my projects"


"I'm worried about getting sick" to "I experience vibrant health daily"

VISUALIZE YOUR WAY OUT OF STRESS AND TOWARDS SUCCESS

Many people report very beneficial and soothing results out of using simple visualizations frequently. The mind is much like a muscle in that, in order to relax, it needs to regularly release what it is holding onto.

You can use any situation or location that will help calm you. We liken this to “finding your happy place”. Maybe you feel relaxed in a swimming pool or on the beach. Imagine yourself there. Just make sure wherever you go in your mind is a place where you can be calm and rested.

By visualizing the different situations, you are allowing your mind to release. It is like sending a message to your brain that when you close your eyes and begin this process it is time for letting go of anything that it has been mentally holding onto, including anxious thinking.

In order to train your mind how to let go of the stress, it is important to practice this daily. With practice, you can learn to release all stress within minutes of starting the exercise. Your daily practice should take place before going to bed, as that will enable you to sleep more soundly.

Many people do not do these visualizations in the bedroom but some other room before going to bed. That way, when they enter the bedroom and close the door, they are leaving the mental stress and anxious thinking behind them. Just be sure you have the opportunity to totally concentrate on your mental images.

Visualization as a tool for dealing with mental stress is very effective. If such visualization is carried out properly, you can reach a deep feeling of inner calm. This technique probably will not work in helping to end an anxiety attack, but it can help that attack from beginning. It is a very powerful support tool for ridding yourself of general anxiety sensations.

With practice, you find you go days without having anxious thinking interrupt your life, and importantly, this significantly reduces the level of general anxiety you feel.

Visualization is simply a tool you can use to overcome anxious thoughts and feelings. And once you free yourself from stress and anxiety you are ready to welcome the world with a more positive energy whereby opening doors to your success!

Yes to Positivity

Staying positive is key to a happy and successful life. Self-hypnosis is the fastest way to clear your mind and re-focus. Train yourself to absorb only good thoughts. Often times, it’s good to stay away from people who make you unhappy or uncomfortable. Treat life’s circumstances as a learning experience, this way you welcome everything with a grateful heart.

1/ Psych yourself up
If you are dreading an event, imagine a time when you felt confident and happy. Play this in your mind as if you are watching a movie. Imagine the play of colours, turn up the volume, expand the picture in your mind and feel the emotion. Close your eye and visualize the applause you receive from people. This exercise will help turn fear to confidence.

2/ Act confident
Start your day by making up your mind to act confident. One way to feel good is when you look good, so dress up your way to confidence. Here’s a secret… confidence can be faked – there is no difference between someone who is really confident from the one who is acting confident . Project yourself with pride, do this everyday – before you know it you’ve turn yourself into one hell of a confident person.

3/ Ask help
Don’t hesitate to ask help specially if you need one. A hypnotherapist can teach you how to use self-hypnosis for relaxation, self-improvement and even to boost sport performance.

4/ Protect yourself
Visualization techniques can help protect you from other people’s negativity. Some people imagine a protective bubble around them. Others imagine strengthening their own aura or energy field so that negative vibrations bounce off them. Daily, I would chant positive words and imagine a pure white light protecting me. A hypnotherapist can help you with cord-cutting, where you emotionally release the person who is affecting you in a negative way. You may find that in real life, the person actually goes away or stops ‘pressing your buttons’.

5/ At bedtime
Repetition of certain keywords can be hypnotically relaxing. Clear your mind before sleep by repeating, ‘I am floating’, or ‘I am relaxing’, in your mind. Listening to the sound of waves or raindrops can also put you in a relaxed state.

6/ Think BIG
Feeling that we are unworthy of success can be very destructive. You may have heard this phrase, ‘Who do you think you are?’ while growing up and then grew up to believe that you deserve only an average life. This is a limiting belief that stop you from getting BIG! Free yourself now of these false beliefs because we all deserve to grow and succeed.

7/ Yes, you can!
Yes, I can! Think about words that make you feel strong. Say words that give you power. Live by the words that represent your best image. Repeat and affirm these positive words daily (changing when necessary) and feel the magical power of your words.

Goal Setting Help

Did you think about positive New Years resolutions early this year?  

How are you doing in the achievement of these goals?  Any progress yet or are you back to your old habits and nothing actually happened. 

I am guilty of it this too many times in the past...  Have set  goals - career goal, weight loss goal, personal development goal - financial goal... but completely failed in achieving it?

Why?  Because I don't know how to set goals correctly.

If 10 books, 20 seminars and 8 life coaches tell you that the first step in the successful achievement of your goals is to WRITE THEM DOWN, then it must the right.  
I was lazy, never took the step to write down what I want to achieve - I relied on my memory assuming that it will do.  I was wrong!  

At the beginning of this year I finally came to my senses and sat down, wrote everything that I wanted to achieve, change and have this year.  I poured down my emotions and wrote in detail how I envision my 2011.  I even made myself a vision board because I also learned that our brain responds well to visual images. (I will share more about this topic later).  And then everyday I would look at my list with my vision board and imagine my dreams actually actually becoming reality.
Believe it or not, as of this writing 1 of my goals already happened. And I am having a clear road to the achievement of the rest of my dreams.   I know, within this year, my dreams will become reality.

It happened to me... I am sure you can have the same results too.

Pebble beneath my bed

I don't want to be negative, but sometimes things happen or you come across people, and it is just so difficult to keep a positive self. 

Today, I am reminded of the fairytale 'Princess and the Pea'.  For those who does not know the story, it is about a young lady who passed the queen's test to prove that she is a real princess for her son.  When it was time to rest, the old queen hid a small pea underneath 20 mattresses and bed covers - this is where the princess should sleep.  In the morning when asked about her sleep, the princess said that she hardly closed her eyes.  There seem to be something hard in the bed she can't explain... to cut the long story short, the queen is convinced and the princess and the prince lived happily ever after.

REALITY CHECK

You deliver your best - you make everything happen - you do a great job - you give your all - you oil the machine and it runs smooth - you teach - you share - you sacrifice... despite all, someone / something will remain to be the lump in your throat - who is never satisfied - finds fault - makes like difficult.
   
LESSON LEARNED

Twenty mattresses and bed covers against one pea.  Do the math!  The mattresses are all the beautiful things that is around us - a faithful God, loving family, wonderful friends, good job, great business, nice car, comfortable home, good health, fine jewels, yummy food, love, trust, cool gadgets, respect  - practically anything and everything we love that really matters.  The pea would be a small pain, the black dot somewhere in your white universe that tries to pull you down. Don't let this happen.  When things get soar, lets never forget about our mountain of blessings and shoo away that small pebble.
