PURPOSE – VISION - GOALS

Success can’t materialize unless you have a clear set of Purpose, Vision & Goals. Many people are lost because they are not aware of their soul purpose. Each one of us are given a calling. You, me, everybody are given are given a sacred purpose in life. This purpose is the reason why you wake up each morning. It is your mission, it is your reason for living, the thing that will make you truly happy and at the end of the day will give your answer to these 3 basic questions:

1/ Did I live?
2/ Did I love?
3/ Did I matter?

Keep still, read and learn about your ‘Purpose, Vision And Goals’ By Bob Proctor

Do you have a definite purpose that guides your ambitions, vision, and goals?

It doesn't matter how you think you arrived here on this planet or under whose direction - the fact remains that each of us has specific talents and gifts that are uniquely coded within our own DNA.

As you go through life, you don't just pick up things you like doing by chance. You discover what you're good at because you were meant to discover it, just as you were meant to figure out what your fingers do, and how your elbows work.

Your unique gifts are hardwired into your system just as surely as your lungs are given their blueprint to breathe.

GAIN CONTROL OF YOUR MIND, GAIN CONTROL F YOURLIFE

And it's from these specific talents and gifts that you're able to define and determine your definite purpose... the reason why you're here.

What's in you cannot be found in another living human being. In fact, it's quite possible that what you bring to the table hasn't been duplicated - ever - since time began.

That's right! This "purpose" is serious business.

If you fail to determine your definite purpose, everything else is wrong. It's like working with a broken compass - you may think you're going North, but you're not. You're not sure which direction you're heading, so, you're just wandering aimlessly.

Without your purpose identified firmly in your mind, you will wander through life, never quite feeling that you're "in the flow." I say, then, that it's imperative you recognize what it is you're good at - what it is you really love to do.

Your purpose in this lifetime is to do the thing that you love.

People will tell you they already know what they're good at, and what they love to do most, but they'll never earn money doing it. Whoever gave you that idea?

When you're sorting out your purpose, I don't want you thinking about that non-issue at all. You can earn money at anything. Once you determine your purpose, you won't even have to think hard on how to earn money - it's as if you're being guided by an unseen hand, heading in the right direction... and everything falls into place.

The key to your life is not that you settle for the "safe" thing that will bring in the money. The key is to turn and do what you really love. Fall in love with an idea. That's your life! That's your purpose.

D.R.E.A.M Formula for Success / M for Mentor

M for Mentor
Mentors May Be Your Missing Link To Your Success. – Bo Sanchez

It definitely was my missing link, could be yours too.

For many years I’ve got so many plans. I wanted to have a business, I wanted to be wealthy, I wanted to write a book, I wanted to be a great photographer, I wanted to maintain a trim and fit body, etc etc… There were so many things I wanted to do but I am lost and have no clue where to begin until I realized that I needed a teacher.

Yes! You and I need to have a teacher in one or two areas of life to achieve the success we wanted. We need an instrument to teach, inspire, and show the way.
History shows many examples of mentoring that produced the most successful men…

• Business people — Freddie Laker mentored Richard Branson
• Politicians — Aristotle mentored Alexander the Great
• Actors — Laurence Olivier mentored Anthony Hopkins. Martin Landau mentored Jack Nicholson. Mel Gibson mentored Heath Ledger
• Musicians — Johann Christian Bach mentored Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Dr. Dre mentors Eminem. Denniz Pop mentored Max Martin. David Foster mentored Josh Groban, Frank Zappa mentored Steve Vai
• Athletes — Eddy Merckx (five-time Tour de France winner) mentored Lance Armstrong (seven-time Tour de France winner). Bobby Charlton mentored David Beckham
• Movies — Obi-wan Kenobi mentored Anakin Skywalker and his son Luke Skywalker
SOURCE: WIKIPEDIA
Even Bill Gates has a mentor. His name is Warren Buffett; one of the greatest living stock market investors and, like Bill Gates, a multi-billionaire.

In the Holy Bible, we read about mentoring as Moses is counseled and encouraged by his father-in-law, Jethro. Moses reaches out to mentor two leaders in Israel, Joshua and Caleb. In other books we see Naomi mentoring Ruth. Watch a young prophet in training, Elisha, running to keep up with Elijah, to learn.

If you seek excellence in a particular field or area, find someone you trust who already excels in it, take down notes, try out their method, pick up their brains.
Ask that person to be your mentor. A mentor could be a favorite uncle, a teacher, a coach, a peer-buddy, even a “chance” friend. A mentor need not be physical too, mentors may be in the form of books - read all successful peoples books - or in today’s modern world, a virtual mentor. You may enroll in their program, read their writings, watch their videos and imagine yourself doing the same.

Jesus is my greatest Mentor, but He also uses others to coach me in various areas of my life. When a student is ready, the teacher will appear. I am where I am because of my mentors, and because of this I know I should not keep my mentors to myself. So I’d like to share some of my mentors with you.

D.R.E.A.M. Formula to Success / D for Discipline

Success is subjective. What I consider success may not be to you or to other people but one thing is for sure, all of us in this planet have an ultimate goal – TO BECOME SUCCESSFUL. For many, success is having a big, fat bank account. Others may say they are successful because of their happy family or loving relationship. Still someone would say his success is measured by a fit and healthy body. Bottom line, success is to live the life of your dreams!

"Everything you want is out there waiting for you to ask.
Everything you want also wants you.
But you have to take action to get it."
~ Jules Renard

Lucky enough SUCCESS is not an impossible DREAM. Everybody in this planet has the ability to be successful and all it takes is for you to D.R.E.A.M. big.

“Watch your thoughts, for they become words.
Watch your words, for they become actions.
Watch your actions, for they become habits.
Watch your habits, for they become character.
Watch your character, for it becomes your destiny.”

I don’t claim to be an expert but following these principles have moved me towards success and I am doing this to spread success. Hoping by this simple means the world will be a better place filled with happy successful people.

D.iscipline R.oadmap E.expect A.ction M.entor

D – Discipline

Discipline is doing something even if you don’t want to do it. Yes, discipline is waking up at 5am to meditate and visualize your goals. It is eating a balanced meal – low sugar, low fat, low salt - to become healthy; it is putting on your running shoes to jog towards your ideal shape; it is also stopping yourself from spending on WANTS and not NEEDS.

Have you attended every personal training seminar and read hundreds of self help books only to have a couple of weeks (or maybe even days) effect and all of a sudden you are back to square one? It is simply because you lack self discipline. You lack self-control and allow yourself to do only the things you want to do. Makes sense?

To become successful, you need to be disciplined and committed towards the achievement of your goal. When you say yes to success, you need to have discipline to stick to this decision no matter what it takes.

KICK THAT HABIT AWAY

“Form good habits…be a good person” is the universal motherly advice every one of us can recall when we scratch the realm of our memories. Tiny tots and youngsters are forever bound, protected and guided by their seniors and elderly in order to help them on to tread the path laid on time tested principles of honesty and good behavior. Yet sometimes unknowingly they take the forbidden route just to prove things for the heck of it.

Due to the extreme stress, strain and stretch of the competitive world around any person today, we tend to be more susceptible to succumb to pressure and buckle under it. Here’s where the need for addiction in any form arises which however provides only temporary solace rather than erasing the real cause. We sometimes latch on to it and slowly get further and further suck into its false whirlpool leading us to lose our will power.

Here’s the good news, any addiction can be overcome, any bad patch overridden if only we could endure it by facing it head-on keeping the following lines from Kipling in mind

If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds worth of distance run
Yours is the earth and everything that’s in it
And – which is more – you’ll be a MAN!

There are 3 major things you need to kick that bad habit away… DETERMINATION – WILLINGNESS FOR CHANGE – ACCEPTANCE. Have these 3 while following the steps below and you’re on your way to becoming a new YOU.

1/ Know your ‘WHY’. Often times a strong why is all you need to get moving. In order to let go of a habbit that is no longer serving you, you really need to sit down and evaluate the reasons why this is no longer serving you. Be honest with yourself as this may be very challenging realizing you don't need something that you've been holding on to for a long time.

2/ Choose the people who you hang out with. Not all your friends are good influence and you may have acquired a bad habit from a friend or group of friends and even share that habit you once did. Realize everyone breaks bad habits at their own time. Be careful if you are in a situation where you are feeling the need to get back into your bad habit because of peer pressure. Yes, Peer pressure still exists when you are much older. Keep clear of extra temptation to do bad.

3/ Take 3 long deep breaths. This is a technique that you should get in the habit of doing. Every time you are thinking about taking action on a bad habit, take 3 long deep breaths and totally clear your mind. This will allow you to be clear and re-evaluate your situation.

Are you hungry? Be happy because you are blessed!

Dear CM Subscriber,

If there is one thing I learned from this weeks SOUL FOOD, it's this... To be hungry is a blessing.

What? How can hunger be a blessing?  Simple, because a person without hunger is a miserable person.  Try to picture this.

A multi-billionaire with a huge house, countless cars, fat bank account, overflowing food everyday,  travels around the world, spends time in the casino, all family have got their own life.  Never goes hungry.  Is this person happy?  Maybe?  For how long?  What's the meaning of his life? Is there still a purpose for living.

So yes, hunger is a great blessing!

Allow me to quote Bro. Bo and his story
Last week, someone asked me, “Bo, you’re a entrepreneur and a missionary. If you were only an entrepreneur, you’d probably be ten times richer!”

The answer is a resounding No! If I wasn’t a missionary, I’d be ten times poorer. Because if I wasn’t a missionary, I wouldn’t have had the great hunger I have today.

Here’s my guess: After the initial success of my businesses, I would have remained complacent. I’d tell myself, “Why earn more? Why work harder?” There was no purpose.

But because my goal was to raise money for my ministry, this hunger drove me to earn more.
And I have so many dreams for God’s work. These dreams fuel my hunger.

I’ve met people who have earned a lot of money and have lost their passion for life. Because they have lost their hunger. Their dreams have been fulfilled and they have no new dreams.

But that’s because they only think of themselves. SOURCE

Some years ago I am not a hungry person.  I have fulfilled my dreams and can basically do whatever I want.  I don't have any more goals and because of this I became lost.  Because I am only thinking of myself, I began to question the purpose of my existence.

Dear friends, never stop dreaming.  Set yourself on fire with new goals.  Share more and more of yourself.  Don't be afraid to go hungry because it is actually a blessing.

Goal Setting Principle Studied

Dear Friend,

Today, I would like to share another success secret from John Assaraf.  In this report, he explains again how and why having a clear set of goals in mind will help us live the kind of life we are dreaming of.  This report also tells us of how our brain is connected to the forces of nature to attract the results we want to achieve.

I hope you find this useful as much as I did.  Thanks for your time... Cheers to our success!

You may have heard about a study of alumni 10 years out of Harvard. An astonishing eighty three percent left with their degrees and had no goals at all. Fourteen percent had defined, specific objectives for themselves, but they never wrote them down. The group with goals earned an average of three times the income of the group without them. Now the blow away: The remaining three percent of graduates who had specific goals and wrote them down, earned an average of 10 times what the 83 percent group did.

It's a story that's been circulating in the personal development community for so long that it's become something of an urban legend. Although I have been unable to personally verify the study, it certainly makes a point that I know is true without question. Setting goals hones our focus, gives us direction, and makes it far more likely that we'll actually live the life of our dreams rather than just drift along on whatever whim our circumstances present.

I know it's been one of the most powerful tools in my life...This goal-setting principle is true for all of us--not just those who go to Harvard. You have the chance right now to multiply your earning power, not to mention your ability to create anything else in your life that you desire.

Today we know that a couple of things happen when you write your goals down. When you write your goals in clear, precise terms, you activate your reticular activating system. This powerful tool filters out all the distractions and information you do want. By eliminating the unnecessary 98 percent--including all the information that tries to get your attention every moment of every day through billboards, TV, radio and the Internet--you can zero in on the important 2 percent and become absolutely mega-productive. There are opportunities around you right now to solve every challenge you have, but you may not see them until you condition your brain to look for, accept, and apply them in your life.

Your brain is connected to powerful forces you cannot see, which scientists call the quantum field. We exist in two universes, but we're really only taught to play in one: the world we can see, hear, smell, taste and touch. As soon as you know clearly and specifically what you want to create, you start invoking the laws of quantum physics and the unseen laws of the universe.

Setting goals is not about hard work. It's about surrendering to the universe and allowing it to bring what you want by setting up your brain and behaviors in alignment with your goals.

One great way to create your goals is to look at your life and ask: What has to happen personally and professionally for me to feel totally satisfied with my life? Divide your list into two categories, personal and professional and list as many things in each category as it will take to reach fulfillment.

Make a list. If it helps inspire you, here are some of the things on my list, things that are important to me:

* Success means being a great dad and a great partner to my wife
* Building my company with my partner
* Contributing to society
* Giving to people

Depending on the length of your list, it's unlikely that you will be able to accomplish all of them in 12 months, so the most important thing is to take the most important things from your list and focus on those things first.

High achievers are not ten to twenty times more intelligent than other people; their power comes from the methods, resources and focus they use. By setting clear goals and writing them down, they've set their brains to achieve those goals. How it happens is absolutely miraculous and beautiful to observe.

Are You Ready to Get RICH?

Do you ever wonder why "some people" seem to have so much wealth and success in their lives, while so many others struggle, suffer and never seem to "get rich" no matter how hard they try?

Personally, I've always been astonished by how you can take two people who seem “so” similar in so many ways . . . wake them up to the power of manifesting and the Law of Attraction and, a few months or a year later, have fantastically different results . . .

... one of them having skyrocketed to wealth, power and success while the other seems to have made no progress at all.

You probably already know about John Assaraf from his amazing work in "The Secret," his appearances on Ellen, Larry King, Oprah and hundreds of television shows around the world . . .

John is one of the biggest experts on the Law of Attraction in the world and has changed the lives of millions of people - (and especially since he transformed himself from a street kid to a multi-millionaire  business success)...

I have been reading about and listening to John and what struck me the most is his deep interest in NEUROSCIENCE, the inner workings of the mind and how the "programming" of the mind affects everything from how you feel when you wake up in the morning to how successful you are in your love life to how much money you ALLOW YOURSELF to make . . .

John discovered during his intensive research that . . . you can not CONSCIOUSLY choose to attract wealth and success or "get rich."  In fact,  consciously "choosing" (as what most people do) to get wealthy and successful can actually hold you back . . .

Why?

Well, it helps if you think of your mind as a computer.

We all know that computers can only do what they're PROGRAMMED for . . . you run a piece of software on your computer and it does EXACTLY that it's programmed to do. The only way to change what the computer does is to go in and rewrite the software or to install a completely new program.

What John discovered is that so many of us are walking around with "Bad Software" embedded deep in our subconscious minds.

"Software" that basically forces us to under perform, to be "poor" in some cases or to hit a "ceiling of success" that we just can't seem to break past no matter what we do.

It's not your fault that you can't get the success and wealth you want and deserve...

..It's just that your "Software" (which was "programmed" into your mind a long time ago, probably when you were a kid) is just out of date.
In his video "Inner Game Of Money and Success" . . . He  teaches how to "reprogram" your subconscious to almost automatically seek out and create amazing levels of wealth and success in your life.

You have to realize that it is your brain that allows you to see.

He tells about ways or techniques on how to tap into our subconscious to manifest the results we want to achieve.  You can choose from any of the following but a combination of the same has been proven to deliver the best results.

1/ Guided Visualization - is creating a mental picture of something. Visualization is important because it makes the future become more clear. Seeing yourself already achieving your goal makes your brain believe that attaining that goal is possible. Focusing consistently on any given goal will enable you to manifest it far sooner than if you didn't focus on it at all. Focus brings the goal closer to you.  A visualization coach will help you get more focus.

2/ Precision Affirmation - affirmation is a declaration that something is true. Written down precise affirmations when done properly and consistently works wonders in the achievement of your goals.

3/ Psyche - refers to the forces in an individual that influence thought, behavior and personality

4/ Hypnotherapy - is the process to bypass the conscious brain to change tap the subconscious.  Hypnotherapists use exercises that bring about deep relaxation and an altered state of consciousness. A person in a deeply focused state is unusually responsive to an idea or image. By doing so they can affect their own bodily functions and psychological responses.

5/ Meditation (my most favorite) - Meditation is a practice of concentrated focus upon a sound, object, visualization, the breath, movement, or attention itself in order to increase awareness of the present moment, reduce stress, promote relaxation, and enhance personal and spiritual growth.  Meditation is the art of focus.

Goal Setting Process by John Assaraf

John Assaraf, Bo Sanchez, Joe Vitale and about half a dozen more top Life Coaches say the same thing about goal setting and achieving success.... in every area of your life.

Hi Friend

Your Goal Setting Game Plan for 2011

Goals shouldn't be generalized desires, such as "I want more money" or "I want to be happy." Goals should be exact, specific outcomes--results you can get your head and emotions around. The first step to living your dream life is put your goals in writing.

Set your overall life goal and vision.
What works best for me is first setting my overall life goal, which is also my master vision and overview. I develop that vision into my one-year goals with specific monthly, weekly, and daily goals and actions that move in that direction for each section of my life.

Set Your One Year Goals.
List your one-year goals in each of the following categories: mental health, physical health, finances, spirituality, family, significant other, family, business and contribution. Once your yearly goals are written, break them down into achievable monthly, weekly and daily routines and activities likely steps. Use your calendar, day planner or other organizing tool to record the activities and keep track of your progress. It's critical to always have your goal forms and life planning documents at your fingertips, as accessible to you are your regular planner, whether it's electronic or on paper. Like most people, I have a list a mile long of things to accomplish--all of which have grown directly out of my goals.

Find a mentor.
Choose someone you respect and who has accomplished what you're setting out to do. The just ask. Some people let their fear of rejection or of being an imposition get in the way of posing this simple question: Would you be willing to mentor me? Of course, there's a little more conversation involved, including telling the prospective mentor why it will benefit him or her, too.

If you have difficulty with any aspect of this goal-setting process, just set it aside for a day, then come back to it. Don't feel you have to complete your goals in one 15-minute scribbling session. Legendary basketball coach John Wooden said he used to spend more than one hour of planning for every 10 minutes of actual practice. With this formula, he won more NCAA basketball championships than any coach ever had.

To fuel action on your goals, take some time to consider how achieving them makes you feel. How will you act, walk, and talk when you achieve each goal? What will you do with your new abundant life? Come up with as many positive reasons and anchors as you can for achieving your goal to fuel you to do your best. Don't sit on the sidelines waiting for things to change. Take charge and make your dreams come true.

John Assaraf is one of the experts featured in the film and book The Secret, which he helped launch into a worldwide phenomenon. He has shared his expertise on achieving financial freedom and living an extraordinary life with millions of viewers on Larry King Live, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, and dozens of other media venues worldwide.

Goal Setting Help

Did you think about positive New Years resolutions early this year?

How are you doing in the achievement of these goals?  Any progress yet or are you back to your old habits and nothing actually happened.

I am guilty of it this too many times in the past...  Have set  goals - career goal, weight loss goal, personal development goal - financial goal... but completely failed in achieving it?

Why?  Because I don't know how to set goals correctly.

If 10 books, 20 seminars and 8 life coaches tell you that the first step in the successful achievement of your goals is to WRITE THEM DOWN, then it must the right.
I was lazy, never took the step to write down what I want to achieve - I relied on my memory assuming that it will do.  I was wrong!

At the beginning of this year I finally came to my senses and sat down, wrote everything that I wanted to achieve, change and have this year.  I poured down my emotions and wrote in detail how I envision my 2011.  I even made myself a vision board because I also learned that our brain responds well to visual images. (I will share more about this topic later).  And then everyday I would look at my list with my vision board and imagine my dreams actually actually becoming reality.
Believe it or not, as of this writing 1 of my goals already happened. And I am having a clear road to the achievement of the rest of my dreams.   I know, within this year, my dreams will become reality.

It happened to me... I am sure you can have the same results too.

The following video will explain in detail the road to your success... whatever your goals in life are.  By the way, she is Natalie from the MIND MOVIES TEAM.  They are doing a wonderful job in helping people towards a happy and positive life.

Enjoy... and I hope you learn as much as I did.
